This is our most straightforward floor soundproofing system—perfect where lifting the floorboards isn’t an option or where minimal disruption is preferred.

Impact noise reduction: Up to 30dB ∆Lw
Mat thickness: 12mm or 15mm
Ideal for: Flats, rented properties, small upgrades

Installation involves laying the impact-absorbing MuteMat® directly over the existing floor. Tecsound membranes can be added for extra mass and improved sound reduction. The surface is ready for carpet or wooden flooring. Gripper risers and optional plywood sub-layers can also be added as needed.

MuteMat® + Mineral Wool for Timber Joists

For floors with a cavity, this system provides a balanced reduction in both airborne and impact noise.

Airborne noise reduction: Up to 49dB
Impact noise reduction: Up to 46dB

We lift floorboards to insert high-density mineral wool into the joist cavities, then re-lay the boards, seal gaps, and apply MuteMat® on top. Ideal for timber floors in older properties and multi-level homes.

Cement Particle Board System – High-Density Upgrade

Our premium solution for serious soundproofing.

Airborne noise reduction: Up to 58dB
Impact noise reduction: Up to 44dB

This system replaces the floor entirely with cement particle boards laid over isolation rubbers and filled with mineral wool. It offers outstanding mass and performance for high-end domestic or commercial projects.
